Mee Udang @ Teluk Bahang

I went to Penang a few days ago for our family annual trip. Every year we will go there and do what we do best: EAT!
So far we have covered all the basics: Nasi kandaq line clear, gurney drive eat out, seafood by the beach and batu feringghi night walk.

This time we have actually discovered a new place. Mee udang at Teluk Bahang!* thanks Yahya* It is located at Jalan Nelayan in Kampung Nelayan, Teluk Bahang. The thing about this place is that it doesn't really have a name. But if you ask the locals about Pak Non (a.k.a Nakhoda) they'll surely know him.
The mee udang is a definite must try.

The sweet taste of prawns in the gravy is just right, not to mention the amount of prawns in the mee itself. I made an effort of counting the prawns in my mee and guess what, more than 10 pieces! Pak Non said he had putten approximately 250g of prawns per plate! The pricing isn't expensive at all with this being at RM 7.
Besides the prawn mee, they also serve fried mee, bubur gandum *delish* and abc.

If you're anywhere near Batu Feringghi from 1.30pm - 7.30pm, make a stop at Pak Non's shop for his mee udang. It opens from Tuesday to Sunday. It is less than 10 mins drive from Hard Rock Hotel. At the Teluk Bahang roundabout (near Khaleel Restaurant) take the 12 o'clock turn. Go straight and take the right turn before Puz Mart into Jalan Nelayan. The shop will be on your left.
